KONKAN MUSLIM EDUCATION SOCIETY AT A GLANCE

The Konkan Muslim Education Society of Thane district established in 1927 has been rendering its services in the field of education for more than 80 years. Currently, the K.M.E. society is running 2 primary schools, 8 secondary schools, one residential school at Bordi, one Technical Training Institute, a Computer Center, 3 Junior colleges, and a multi-faculty college for women affiliated to the university of Mumbai with B.A, B.Sc. B.com, B.Sc, I.T B.M.S M.A M.Sc, M.Com, and Ph.D. Programs and a college of Education (B.Edand D.Ed. course).

The K.M.E. Society’s main objective is to make education facilities available to the people of the entire Thane District. The efforts of the members of the K.M.E. Society are appreciated by one and all for its continual improvement of all its institutions. Learning is a continuous and creative process. Hence KMES aims to develop the student’s capabilities and thus help towards the enrichment and progress of society. To keep pace with the changing methods in the Teaching-Learning process, all the institutions of the K.M.E. society have incorporated modern technology to ensure academic excellence.

The selfless services of the Office Bearers have served as an inspiration to many such organizations in the district. To produce students with knowledge, character, and adequate skills to compete in the fast-changing world is the goal of K.M.E. society.
